All in all, - Mark Atillius thought suddenly - I must admit it was not the best idea to attempt a sneak peak in the kitchen window of Messalina who was well known for her, shall we say, "hospitality". Little did Mark realize that Claudius was coming back to the house from one of the local gardens and heard Messalina's ear-piercing screams coming from the back room. Claudius apprehended Mark, who attempted to flee in embarrassment, and brought him inside the house to be confronted by Messalina.
